The French Senate has released an information document on plans and options already being studied for the country’s future aircraft carrier force. The so-called program of design and construction of the new generation of aircraft carriers (known by the acronym PANG) has already accumulated 18 months of related studies, while a final decision is expected to be made by the president. At present, the PANG calls for one or two vessel.
